Hasan Onur ŞİMŞEK

He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2005. He completed his doctorate education at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery between 2006 and 2010. He completed his military service at Malatya Military Hospital in 2011. After being appointed as an Assistant Professor at Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Dentistry in 2013, he was entitled to receive the title of Associate Professor in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2021. Şimşek, who served as the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry between 2017-2019 and the Chief Physician of the Dentistry Application and Research Center between 2020-2023. He held administrative positions such as Chairman of the Commission and Board of Directors, Health Tourism Unit Manager, Quality Coordinator, and Head of Department of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He continues to work as “Health Quality Standards Quality Assessor” at the Ministry of Health and “Healthcare Accreditation Surveyor” at the Türkiye Health Services Quality and Accreditation Institute. He members Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society (AÇBİD), Turkish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (TAOMS), International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS), European Association for Cranio Maxillofacial Surgery (EACMFS), International Team for Implantology (ITI). He was elected as a member of the supervisory board of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society (AÇBİD) between 2019-2023 and as a member of the board of directors at the 9th General Assembly Meeting dated June 2023.

As of September 2023, he continues to work as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialist at Aydin Optimum Oral and Dental Health Center.

Hasan Onur ŞİMŞEK is married and has one child.
